Soccer Celebration

On Monday, November 23 Abby had her end of the season soccer party. One of her teammates had the team over for a pool/pizza party...IN NOVEMBER (we do live in Vegas). The girls had a great time and they all got a trophy!

We Love the Outdoors!

Jim and I are trying very hard to raise girls who love being outdoors. I truly hope they end up loving the outdoors as much as Jim and I do!

Lunch Date

On Friday, November 20th I had a meeting across town and Kera needed to tag along. She was very well behaved at the meeting so, for a treat, afterwards we went to the container park for lunch. We went to The Perch the food was good but a bit pricey but I really couldn't complain very much because I had the cutest lunch date in the restaurant.

Patriotic Assembly

The Friday before Kera's party (November 12th) Abby participated in her school's patriotic assembly. Her and her fellow 1st graders did an amazing job!

Floors, Abby's Last Soccer Game, and KERA'S PARTY!

Unfortunately, I missed Abby's last soccer game of the season on Saturday, November 14th. I was completely bummed but I needed to stay home so that the workers could finish putting the floor in. Which was also very important because we were having Kera's birthday party the next day. I missed quite a game though. The Ladybugs won were last game 9-0 and Abby scored her 2nd goal of the season! While I was home I was able to start decorating for Kera's pizza making birthday party!

Kera's 5!!!

How is it even possible? Our baby is 5...where did the time go? On Tuesday, November 10th her birthday festivities began...she got to celebrate her birthday a bit early with her school friends with cupcakes...

On Kera's birthday we had a pretty lazy day; we were saving our energy up for her birthday party on Sunday but...there was still time for presents...

Goodbye Carpet

We finally decided to remove our carpet downstairs and get laminate floors. I could not have been more excited! I was extremely tired of the old dirty carpet!! As an attempt to keep the cost down we on Sunday, November 8th we did our own demo by tearing out the old carpet and padding (this saved us about $700).

It was a lot of carpet! Luckily our cabbage collector took it all away for us!

I think Chewy likes the cold concrete!
