Valentine's Day Box

For school Abby needed to make a Valentine's Day Box to store all of her friends' cards in. She also needed to bring her box in as her show and tell item for the month. Jim and Abby worked very hard on her Valentine's Day Box and she was very proud of it!

Sledding followed by a Tea Party!

On Sunday, February 1st, we headed up to Mt. Charleston for some sledding fun. It took us a while to get up to our sledding run.  On the way there we had to picked up a new sled…one of our other ones broke during our last sledding adventure. Also, when we were about to turn off the highway to head up the mountain, Jim asked me if I brought Chewy's leash....WHOOPS...nope. After a trip back home we were finally on our way.  There was not as much snow this time but that didn't stop our good time!

Unfortunately, our new sled did not work for us very well. The only way the girls could ride it was, if Jim rode down it on his tummy and the girls hitched a ride on his back.

Jim even took Chewy for a ride...he was NOT a fan!

After sledding we did find enough packable snow to build a snowman.!

Don't worry my Seattle friends and family, even with our delays, we were home in time for the game.

GRRRRRR Patriots!

After the game it was time for a tea party. Abby had gotten a new tea set for her birthday and she couldn't wait to try it out.

Birthday, birthday party, sledding, football, and a tea party...what a busy fun few days!
