Abigail Kalin Rogers is Here!!

Our dear girl Abigail was born Friday, January 30th @ 5:26 pm and of course...she is perfect. She weighed 7lbs 6oz and was 19 inches long. Jim and I were both 21 iches long so...maybe she will not be as tall as we thought...but probably not. Here are some pictures of our beautiful girl:

She has been a very calm baby so far except for one thing...she DOES NOT like baths!

The one thing that she did like about her first bath time was getting her hair brushed.

We will be heading home from the hospital tomorrow afternoon...just in time for the big game.

Jim's Birthday

Wednesday was Jim's birthday. He turned the VERY young 38. We both had to work during the day but after work we headed for dinner at Rock Bottom...Jim was craving their beer and I needed their Mac n' Chicken.


Rock Bottom never disappoints and we had a very entertaining waiter. His name was Willie Nelson...NO JOKE!

Chewy's New Haircut

Our fuzzy bundle of joy was getting a bit too fuzzy...

So even with it being -32 degrees with the windchill it was time for Chewy to get his haircut. Here are the results...

We were not so happy with the initial results...I think it was the severe blow dry...a little to poodle for our liking but as the days have gone on it has definitely gotten better!

I hope everyone is staying warm! I know Jim and I are counting down the days until spring...61 days.

Happy '09

Happy New Years everyone! I hope that all of you have a fabulous 2009. I know this year will bring many changes for Jim and I but we are VERY excited...'09 is the year of Abby.

This New Years Eve was a very low key new years for us. We went over to John and Karen's for dinner and then Jim and I were home and in bed by 11 pm...oh the life of the 35.5 week pregnant lady.
