August

On November 1st we welcomed August into our house.

We had August visiting us from November 1st through the 22nd. Her normal foster family went on an extended vacation so, we got to watch this 14 year old beautiful trouble maker.

While she was very sweet she did cause some issues like...
  • easting a BUNCH for Halloween candy (I didn't close the pantry)
  • scratching our leather couch
  • eating all the bones her foster mom left for her in one sitting (I forgot to close the pantry again)
  • loved being on the couches even though we don't allow Chewy on the couch
  • WOST OF ALL...after all the candy and bones she had an issue with going number 2 all over our dinning room carpet.
We were happy to watch her and, I am sad to say, we were not too sad to see her go. Take care sweet old girl!

Happy Birthday Grandma!

On November 1st Grandma Gwen celebrated her birthday. Happy Birthday Grandma!

Halloween!!

We had a VERY busy FUN Halloween!!

First we headed to your friend's house for a Halloween breakfast playdate.

Then we rushed home and got ready to trick-or-treat at Jim's work. The festivities were supposed to begin at 2 but sometime during the day they got moved up to 12.  This means, it was a MAD RUSH to get ready but, once we got there...there was a lot of fun and candy to be had!

Finally is was time for the main event to begin! The girls and our neighbor friend Elsa...I mean Sam...were very anxious to get out trick-or-treating...

...and so were Jim and I. I got to walk around with the girls... and Jim stayed and managed the house.

...and Jim stayed and managed the house.

The girls had a blast!

And they gathered quite a lot of loot!

It was finally time to relax and a beer with this monster.

While the girls had a bit more Halloween shenanigans in them!

It was another FANTASTIC Halloween season!!!!

Halloween School Party Time!

On Thursday, October 30th both of the girls got to get all dress-up in their Halloween best for school!

Abby was able to dress-up in her kid of Frankenstein costume but Kera opted for her kitty costume from last year. Kera's school does not like anyone to dress up in scary costumes so, we figured there is nothing less scary than a cute little kitty!

We dropped off Kera first and it was fun to see her friend Elsa...I mean Scarlett.

Next it was time to take Abby to school...

...and we ran into this cute little witch...I mean Gracie.

So many fun costumes!

The girls had a very fun day at school and brought home many yummy treats! Abby's backpack was so full that I had to carry it out to the car for her.

Once we pick-up Kera from her party we headed to the park for a picnic. What a beautiful fun day!!
