Let it Go...

Too Cute not to post!

Created on: December 1, 2015

Elfie

Abby wants an elf-on-the-shelf- so badly that she made one of her own, Elfie, and he made his first appearance on Friday, December 4th, 2015 by making a MESS in the downstairs bathroom.

I hope this elf is not going to be a trouble maker!

Like Father Like Daughter...

On Sunday, November 29th I took this picture of Jim and Abby watching a Steeler's game...

...like father like daughter. Unfortunately, the Steelers lost to the Seahawks, 39-30.

Christmas Tree O' Christmas Tree

On December 5th, 2015 we got out Christmas tree, another Home Depot special. This year we didn't even look at the full tree until we goy home...we just had faith that it would be a good one.

Chewy is not so sure...

...and we had to take a bit off the bottom...

...but we had faith that it would be beautiful.

Looks good but, we can make it look better!

On go the lights!

Next, the ornaments!

Jim found his favorite ornament...a skull made out of Mt. St. Helen's ash.

Looks great...not sure about Kera's outfit though :)

Princess Lea

Abby has become very obsessed with Star Wars lately...which has been very fun but there are draw backs. Abby really wanted a Barbie sized Princess Lea but when I looked up prices they were WAY more then I wanted to spend so, we improvised...

...what was once a Belle doll has become Princess Lea. Not too bad if I do say so myself.

Thanksgiving 2015

Sorry for the delay on these posts...it is my goal to get back on track!

We had the pleasure of having my dad's cousin Jo Ann with us for thanksgiving. We love having her with us and always try to make the most of her visits.

On Wednesday, November 25th Kera and I took Jo Ann to the Bellagio to see their conservatory. It was beautiful as always!

While we were at the conservatory we saw a sign for the Bellagio's Gallery of Fine Art. The current art on display was Picasso so, we decided to check it out. We had so much fun looking at Picasso's work. It was especially fun having Kera guess what the pictures were. I would also cover her eyes and place her in front of a picture then, uncover her eyes and ask her what is the first thing she sees...so much fun.

Thanksgiving was a great day of decorating, walking around Lone Mountain, cooking, and eating.

The girls decided t make some pilgrim outfits and everyone needed to try it on.

Dinner time!

This year we also continues our tradition of the Thanksgiving tree and turkeys...

Here is what we were thankful for...in no particular order...

On the day after Thanksgiving we took Jo Ann to the High Roller. It was the first ride on it for all of us and it was so much fun!

After the High Roller we treated ourselves to a Sprinkles Cupcake!

After walking on the strip for a bit we jumped back in the car and took Jo Ann over to the Container Park fpr a bit of shopping, a snack, and a few margaritas (for the adults of course).

It was a very fun day!

The next Jo Ann headed home. It was a great visit...as always. We love you Jo Ann!
