Creater Lake!

After the waterfalls we headed towards Crater Lake National Park. As soon as we entered the park the girls had quite a freight/thrill...Jim got pulled over by the park rangers for speeding. Luckily Jim talked his way out of a ticket and we were on our way. After some searching we found the rest of our clan. The girls were SO VERY HAPPY to see their cousin Maya! Plus, the lake was amazingly beautiful.

The girls also participated in a Ranger program that taught them how the lake was created.

 

They even earned a badge!

After the ranger program everyone except Chewy, Ellie, and I went on a short hike...the dogs were not allowed on the trail.

Looks like they had a great hike but don't feel sad for me...the dogs and I had some relaxing time under a beautiful tree.

As you can see, the day really zapped the girls!

But, a few minutes later they were bright eyes and bushy tailed ready to devour a whole medium cheese pizza between the three of them!

Next stop...Gold Beach!
