The first decoration up on Friday evening was our felt Christmas tree...
...then the following morning, it was time to venture out into the wilderness of Las Vegas, Home Depot, to pick out a our beautiful Christmas tree!
As usual, Jim put on the lights and the star.
This year, he even put up a few ornaments!
The girls got in on the fun too.
The girl's love the tree and rearrange the ornaments daily!
Also, Mother Nature was on our side on Saturday, she brought us snow! For the last several years we celebrate the first snow fall by baking cookies!
Our Christmas tree in all her glory!
Due to all the baking we did on Saturday on Sunday we decided to share our cookies with our friends and go elfing!
What this means is that we chose 4 friends and we secretly left the cookies and a note on their door. the note said:
you’ve been elfed
Now I see that you have found
the Little Christmas Elf has come to town.
Please help Santa spread Christmas cheer,
to loving families far and near.
Leave Christmas treats where the elf has not gone,
ring the doorbell and hurry on!
Now post the elf as a sign
that you’ve continued this joyous line.
Another Christmas tradition has begun
thanks for sharing in this holiday fun!
happy holidays!
This is a very fun way to secretly spread the Christmas joy!
On Tuesday afternoon the girls and I went to Gilcrease Orchard for a sleigh ride!
After the sleigh ride we saw...SANTA's helper!
After Santa's helper, apple cider donuts and hot chocolate!
It is so fun spending this magical season with our two girls!
