Jim's B-Day Weekend

This weekend it was in the SO VERY COLD!!! On Saturday at 1:30 pm it was 6.6 degrees and that was the temperature before the wind chill.

So, since there is no way we where going to go outside we decided to finally start painting the inside of our house. To our defence...even though we have been here for 1 year and 8 months we have had a lot going on like moving to a new city, getting settled, getting married, and going to Italy. We love the colors of our house but it definitely needed to be refashioned...in many of the rooms we can still see where the previous owners hung their pictures and where their furniture rested on the walls. We started with our Living Room.

We did take a break from painting to go out to dinner for Jim's 37th birthday. We headed out to Quigley's, our local Irish pub. Happy birthday my dear Jim! May this year bring you much joy and happiness!!

We finished the living room on Monday and it looks GREAT!!! It might be the same color but it looks brand new. Next weekend...the dining room. Our goal is to have the downstairs completely re-painted by summer. At this rate we will be done in no time.
