This has been such a fun class for Kera. She has really enjoyed her ballet!

Dorthy

For Kera's dance recital this year they are performing to Somewhere Over The Rainbow from Wizard of Oz. On Wednesday, June 3rd we got to dress up in their adorable costumes.

Kera is very excited to have her first dance recital this year, She makes an adorable Dorothy!

My Date With Kera

On Monday, June 1st I took Kera out on a date. I told both of the girls that we could go out on single day dates together. Kera was first because her school ended before Abby's. Abby's date will be in a week when Pepe and Burrs come to town. Both Kera and I were excited for our date. Kera got to decide all of our activities for the day and we had so much fun!

First stop, Tropical Smoothie for...a smoothie.

Next it was off to the Secret Garden to see dolphins, white tigers, and white lions!

Finally it was off to lunch at Panera.

Fish Fish Fish

On Tuesday, June 2nd the graduating kindergarteners treated us to a performance full of songs and stories. All of the songs and stories were about fish.  Abby had a speaking part as the narrator in the story of The Rainbow Fish. All of the kids, especially Abby, did an amazing job!

Jackie's Wedding

On Friday, May 29th we packed up the car and headed to Tahoe for a quick but eventful weekend. My oldest friend Jackie was getting married and I was her matron of honor. As soon as we finish the very boring 7+ hour drive and dropped off our luggage at our beautiful accommodations (thanks to Shannon for letting us stay at your new vacation home) we headed right to the reversal. At the rehearsal it was the first time that I had seen Jackie in 4 years and it was also the first time that I got to meet her adorable twins, Paisley and Weston.

The weekend was so full of activities that I didn't have time to take many pictures but it was definitely a beautiful wedding and I was honored to be a part of it.

 

 

Jackie had asked me to make some signs for her and Scott's reception chairs. I think they turned out pretty good...

Kera's Last Day of Preschool

Thursday, May 28th was Kera's last day of preschool. She had a great year and really enjoyed school and her new friends. She is already looking forward to school next year.

On the morning of Kera's last day of school we continued our tradition of having a donut breakfast...YUM!

Kera's teachers were wonderful and we will miss them next year!

We will especially miss Ms. Phyllis next year because she is moving to California over the summer.

This was our 2nd year with Ms. Sharon, Abby had her last year. I am so happy that we will still be seeing her in the halls next year. Ms. Sharon has been a true blessing to our children's lives!

On the evening of the 28th Kera and I headed back to her school to watch her friend Scarlett graduate (she is headed off to kindergarten next year). These three amigos have been the best of friends all year. We will miss you next year Scarlett.

Calico

On Memorial Day we headed out to Red Rock Canyon to explore a section we had not been to in a long time, Calico 1. We had a GREAT time and will definitely be coming back to this part of the canyon for more exploring.

 

In years past we have come across many tadpoles but his is the first time we actually saw frogs!
